GREENER THAN GREEN!!!!!!!!!

We made it a point to see the green Chicago River -
our last chance.

The parade was in the morning, but still lots of
people in the afternoon.

Amazingly green !!!!!!!

This couple paddled across the river and back
on an air mattress - to the shouts of encouragement
from those on the bank.

Good-bye green Chicago River.

YES, IT DOES TURN GREEN

As you can see from the pictures below, the Chicago River is dyed green
for St. Patrick's Day.  This belated posting proves it.
We didn't see it, but some of our missionaries did.

(Elders Baum & Worlton)

The Green Chicago River shows up in this fountain along with two great missionaries, Elder Worlton and his companion.

(Elder Worlton)

These pictures were taken on the Monday,
after the river was died on Saturday.
Elder Worlton's red hair and tie are a great
contrast to the green river.
