July 24th Party at the Willmette Stake Center.
The participants do pioneer crafts and play pioneer games
such as stick pull, tug o' war, stilt walking and sack races.
There is a hands on experience as hand cart pioneers.
(The carts look suspiciously like wheelbarrows
and the trail goes around the church.)
We can't forget flapjacks/johnny cakes-just like the pioneers ate?
Delicious.

How many of these participants have pioneer ancestors -
meaning the type that crossed the plains. )
Actually, some of these members are pioneering in the church for their families.
