CHICAGO ZONE CONFERENCE ROLE PLAY

At each zone conference, President initiated a role play.

(Role Plays are fun, and a great teaching method

we learned in the MTC.)

 

Each person face the person in front or in back of him/her.

During the first role play, they were challenged to:

in 2 minutes, get introduced, find out about your person,

bring up a gospel doctrine, teach a lesson and get a

commitment.

 

SOUNDS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE !

Not for these great missionaries.

 

 

During the next role play, roles are switched.

Those playing investigators during role plays

adopt a certain persona which they have

encountered during their mission.

 

The third role play involved "Going to Heaven".

A doctrine was introduced, then the missionary

spiraled up quickly into a

"meaningful and spiritual"

message.

 

Again, the roles are reversed.

 

After each role play, missionaries have the chance to

tell what each other did that was totally successful.
