GOODBYE TO A CITY WE HAVE GROWN TO LOVE

We have grown to love Chicago -
Partly because it is beautiful,
and also because
there are 8 million
children of God living here
who he loves.

The mission will continue to try to reach as many of those souls
as possible.  We, hopefully, will be assigned to
another vineyard in Salt Lake.

WILL IT ALL FIT IN THE CAR...

Can we get all this in our "little" Blue Highlander?

Sucess is looking pretty Grim.

With the help of the above two missionaries -
we squeezed it all in.

ANDREW ARRIVES....

Our grandson arrives to help us get ready to go home.

But first, a little fun.

Off the airplane

Dylan's Candy Bar

Elder C's long awaited partner for the Ferris Wheel.

A drive past the "Home Alone" house.

LAST MISSIONARY PIX AND GOOD-BYES

We have been saying a lot of bitter-sweet goodbyes.

To Sister Bingham, the wife of the Mission Presdient.

Andrew joins us here.

Mark, the realtor that has helped Elder C. so much.

These missionaries are leaving in August.
We were here when these girls started.

And so many more.

GOOD-BYE TO ROCIO

Good-bye to our beautiful friend, Rocio.
She was converted and baptized last December.

A LAST TRIP WITH SISTER MEDINA

A trip on the Metra, then water taxi, to Navy Pier.

The water taxi takes us from Union Station to Navy Pier and back.
The Christensens and Sister Medina.

New Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier to
celebrate 100 years.

Elder C. on the second story of
the Metra Train.

The Chicago River is in full use in the summer.

Beautiful sights on the lake from Navy Pier.

LOTS AND LOTS OF GOOD-BYES

We have been saying good-bye to lots of missionaries.
