WHO IS AT OUR KITCHEN TABLE?

Such a happy picture - 7 of our darling grands
eating breakfast together at our
kitchen table. We pretended we
were in the bedroom listening
to them have fun, but we were actually being
grateful we were on our mission in Chicago -
best of two worlds.

300 DAYS.....

We have blogged our 100 and 200 days.
We forgot to blog the 300th day.
It was when these sweet young men were visiting
in middle of November.
As their mother noted,
'current missionaries and future missionaries'
 in this picture.
Their Dad is a past missionary.

OUR DAUGHTER'S MEN.......

Can't resist posting a pix of our daughter's men.
There's ten years between darling baby and handsome sons.  Something for a father to be proud of,
and grandparents and in-laws to be very grateful for.
Our daughter assures us this family is being blessed
by our missionary service.  So thankful.

STUCK IN WYOMING-OH DARN

We got as far as Douglas Wyoming to stay the night.
Von is checking weather, and we may be here longer
than we planned.  Major snow between Iowa
and Chicago.
For some reason (pictured below),
we don't feel too
bad about a day or two delay.
But hopefully, no more than that.

This morning in RS we had a great lesson taken
from the talk by President Uchtdorf (Oct. 2014):

Living the Gospel Joyful

If anyone needs a lift, or to feel better about
themselves read this talk.  Wonderful.

Last night we went on a walk to see
this Eagle nest and the two eagles that live
in it.  That would be the two dark dots, one in
the nest and the other out on a branch.
