Looking out our bedroom window just before leaving Grand Island, Nebraska.
Grand Island is named because of an
island in the Platte River.
Fun following the Platte, thinking of our ancestors; also going through Council Bluffs,
and thinking more of those ancestors.
Sister Christensen has ancestors buried in Pottowattamie County, Nebraska.
Just wish we knew where.
