A DAY AT THE ART MUSEUM

The Chicago Art Museum is a MUST SEE!
So many cultures represented.  So many beautiful things to see.

Recognize the lion?  You'll see him and several exhibits in
"Ferris Beuhler's Day Off".

This headdress from ancient natives of South America
is carved of wood - so intricate.

English jewelry- centuries old.  This pin is about 2.5 inches long.

Earings belonging to an ancient Myan Woman in
South America - abt 2 inches wide

The Medieval Room was fascinating.

Intricately carved ring, another piece of art from South America.

One of the six famous Chagall windows.

Is sand painting still a practiced art?
This textile of a Navajo sand painting
shows us the intricacy & delicacy of this art.

You could live in this museum for a long time before you saw everything.
The quick tour and fast glances that we had were not enough.
