Half way between transfers, we have a New Missionary Training Meeting.
All missionaries that have been in the field 12 weeks or under
attend this meeting with their companion.
Half way through the meeting, the office staff serves lunch
(to almost a hundred young people this time).
This group is unique in that many "new" missionaries are training
"new" missionaries.
Because of the amount of missionaries coming and going,
some missionaries that had been her six weeks
were given the assignment to train a "new" companion.
The amazing thing is that it all works so well.
About one-fourth of our mission has been here 12 weeks and under. WOW!
Our compliment (number of missionaries) is at about 165-170.
And though it seems we just had transfers,
ONLY THREE MORE WEEKS
to the next transfer.
JUST TO LET ALL YOU PARENTS KNOW - WE LOVE THESE MISSIONARIES.
They are wonderful, smart, cute, handsome, gorgeous, spiritual, clever, fun, friendly, caring, .......
and I could go on and on.
