ZONE TRAINING MEETING
where
material taught by Elders Soares & Scott
(who visited last week-end)
to Leadership
is passed along
to the Elders, Sisters, and Hermanas in
a Zone Meeting.
We attended this meeting and learned a lot. For instance:
1.
We don't start our mission in the MTC and
end it when we get off the plane in our home town.
We STARTED our MISSION in the pre-existence
and it will NEVER end.
Our mission to Chicago is just a small part of our overall mission.
2.
Moriancumr had a problem - no light for the barges.
He worked hard to think of and accomplish a solution.
He eventually spent probably a lot of time to moulten
out pure stones. Then he presented them to the
Lord to do the finish work.
We need to work hard to moulten stones -
> Scripture Study
> Sabbath Sacredness
> Charity Development
> Faith
> Hope
> Attend Meetings
> Accomplish our Callings
> Etcetera
These are our stones. When we have worked hard on them,
we present our efforts to the Lord and
He will do with them what He needs.
3.
Our Patriarchal Blessing is a reminder of
whose we are - a Child of God.
It reminds us of God's plan for us individually.
