AN INTERFAITH EXPERIENCE

Our bishop is part of an interfaith action group.
Therefore, we have had some unique opportunities
to see and feel the faith of those from other religions.

We attended an iftar (meal) to end the fast of Ramadan
at this Muslim Mosque.

Also, we heard five panel members from various
faiths discuss social justice and peace.

During the evening, we were invited to watch
the Muslim prayer service.
The above pictures the women's prayer room,

and through a glass panel, we could
see the men's prayer room below.

It is always a meaningful experience
when we can learn about the religion
of others, and how faithful they are to
the God they believe in.

It reminds us of all the good in the world.
