Cloths To Cover Newly Planted Lettuce

We just planted lettuce and now we are stretching a type of cloth

to drape over the boxes to prevent the birds from destroying the plants.



Over the boxes are wires to keep the material off the new plants. 
The material also protects the plants from frost. 
We use 'binder clips' to hold the material onto the wires.
