DOWNTOWN CHICAGO HERE WE COME . . . . .

We finally made it to DOWNTOWN CHICAGO.  We took the train in and saw wonderful things. 

 

My brother, who has been in cities all over the world, expressed that Chicago was one of his favorite cities.  I am beginning to understand why. 

 

We visited several sites - which I will blog over the next few days. 

 

Below is Cloud Gate, or more familiarly known as "the bean".  Amazing sculpture.

 

 

You can see the whole bean in the background. 

 

Here we are taking a picture of us on the side of the bean -

showing the Chicago skyline. 

 

You can see that not only do you walk around the bean to view the city in it,

but you can walk under it and see yourself.
