MAP OF MISSIONARIES GOING HOME AND STAYING

One day I asked Elder N. where he was from.  He said Manila, Utah.  I said where is that?  He then proceeded to draw a map on my whiteboard.

Following that drawing, other missionaries came into my office to add where they were from.  It's a nice history of whereabouts in my office, which I really appreciate.

Some of the missionaries have gone home, but the drawing is here to stay.  Each new missionary that come into my office I ask them to sign my map.

  1. What is cool is that Elder H's family lived in Manila, Ut for three years and got to know Elder N's family very well! So cool that they got to serve in the same mission even though one was Spanish speaking and the other is English speaking. Elder N and Elder H were just babies in Manila so they don't actually remember each other. Still cool for the mom's though. Hope Elder N is enjoy being back in Manila.
