Weekly Harvest: 227 pounds

This past week we harvested 227 pounds of cucumbers, summer squash, zucchini and romaine lettuce.

Beautiful Zucchini which we took to the
Bishop's Storehouse last week.

We also harvested Summer Squash.  We are just
beginning to harvest the Zucchini and Summer Squash
and we will have a bounteous harvest this year.

Above is our tomatoes we are training up rebar.  We will have
a larger harvest  by using this method.

Another view of our grow boxes.  In the foreground is the
"missionary demo garden".  This garden contains herbs,
tomatoes, lettuce, onions, garlic, peppers, etc.  As
this garden progresses, I will note the harvest.
The next grow box contains peppers ready for harvest.

Another view of our peppers.  Note how tall they are becoming.
We planted the following peppers:  Anaheim, Sweet, Jalapeno
and Bell Peppers.

Note the cabbage and broccoli in the middle of the picture.  In
the foreground are cucumbers and tomatoes.  We are growing
most of our vine vegetables vertical on rebar to save space
and try new planting and harvesting methods.
These methods are working as we have harvested more
produce thus far this year than in 2013.
